The death occurred peacefully at her daughter’s residence on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016 of Jean Eileen Whitlock (nee Gordon) of Summerside, aged 87 years. Jean was born in Alberton, P.E.I to the late Alfred and Eileen (nee Keenan) Gordon. Beloved wife of the late Wendell “Bud” Whitlock and loving mother of Bill (Velma), Lynda (Willard), Gordie (Lulu) and Robert. Also lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren Carolyn, Paul, Katie, Dane, Trisha and Elysha, 4 great grandchildren Chantal, Abi, Susie and Bentley and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Peggy (Ron) Theriault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A Celebration of her Life will be held in the spring. Interment to take place in Floral Hills Memorial Garden, Pleasant Valley at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jean’s memory to Generation XX would be greatly appreciated.
