Catherine Anne MacLeod, 72, passed away at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck, December 17, 2016. Born in Goose Cove, Victoria County she was the daughter of the late Dan Allan and Elizabeth Mae (Morrison) MacLeod. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, North River. She is survived by her brother, Angus John (Debbie Buchanan) MacLeod - Goose Cove; sisters, Joan Norma (Allister) Nicholson - Baddeck, Sandra Jean MacLeod - Goose Cove; niece, Wendy (Jeff) Guignon- Kingston; Nephews, Dan (Loretta Ryan) Nicholson – Toronto, Morris and Kieran MacLeod both of Halifax. Visitation will be at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, North River 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday December 21, 2016 followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Corrie Stewart Officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at Goose Cove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church North River Bridge, RR #4, Baddeck, NS, B0E 1B0.
