It is with great sadness, we the family announce the sudden passing of a beloved husband, loving father and grandfather at the Health Sciences Center on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 following a brief illness, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He is predeceased by his parents Mary and Edward Roche and his siblings; Gloria, Albert, and Francis. Leaving with fond and cherished memories his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Maureen (Power); his daughters Kim (Gilbert Careen) and Emily (Bradley McGrath); his sons Fred (Tracy), Sean, Stephen (Holly), Peter (Joy), Edward (Kim), John Paul (Vanessa); 19 beautiful grandchildren; his brother William; his sister-in-law Marie Roche, special in-laws of the Power family, numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Manning's Funeral Service. Resting at Holy Rosary Church in Branch, NL. Visitation on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 6-10 pm and Friday, December 30, 2016 from 10 am - 10 pm. Memorial Service Friday, December 30, 2016 at Holy Rosary Church at 7 pm.
