Spence, Darrel R. – Age 91, of Leamington passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Arthur and Jessie (Johnson) Spence. He is survived by his children, Darrel Spence (Gail), Lower Five Islands; Carissa Atkinson (Joe), West Brook; Darlene Munroe (Nathan), Mapleton; a brother, Warren Spence (Audrey), Amherst; sister-in-law, Jean Schasschl, Amherst; 5 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Eileen Milton; a daughter, Gerene; a brother, Conrad. A graveside committal service will be held 11am on Friday, January 6, 2017 in the Mapleton Cemetery.
