Priscilla Susan Denny- 38, of Pictou Landing First Nations, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of David Denny and the late Audrey (Prosper) Denny.
She was a life-long resident of Pictou Landing First Nation where she was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are her father David Denny, Pictou Landing; sons Marcus Denny, Jesse Denny, Aiden Denny and Bryson Denny, all of Pictou Landing; sisters Crystal (Carl) Denny, Cindy (Chas) Denny and Sandra Denny, all of Pictou Landing; brothers Jeffery Denny and Leroy Denny, both of Pictou Landing; paternal grandfather Frank Denny, Pictou Landing; Godmother Diane Denny and Godfather Frank Denny Jr., both of Pictou Landing; six nieces, six nephews and six great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother Audrey Denny, brother David Denny Jr., paternal grandmother Martha Denny and maternal grandparents John and Agnes Prosper.
Her remains will rest at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Pictou Landing First Nation on Thursday, after 7pm and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Saturday, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Pictou Landing First Nation with father Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Health Foundation for the Dialysis Unit.
