We, the family of the late Don Ford, wish to thank the many people who helped to alleviate the pain, sorrow, and great sense of loss that has afflicted our family with the recent passing of a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

To those who sent food, flowers, cards, memorial gifts, visited our home or the funeral home, made phone calls to offer your warm words of condolences, thank you. To the Praise group and church choir at St. Michael and All Angels, to our spiritual leader and parish priest, Reverend Roberta Woodman, thank you for all you do, your kind words and touching homily, and especially for your visits.

To the Hospital chaplins, thank you for your visits and prayers. To our lay minister Don Randell, thank you. To the Pallbearers (his family and friends), the readers, gift bearers, the ACW and Men’s Fellowship, thank you. To the Western Health Palliative care doctors and nurses, thank you for the special care you gave him. To his family doctor, Dr. Nicola Penney, thank you. To the Community Health nurses and to the OT staff, thank you.

To the management and staff of Fillatre’s Funeral Home, your care and professionalism meant the world to us. Again on behalf of the family, being able to say a simple thank you fills our hearts with joy and gratitude knowing that you all cared so much.
