1944-2017
It is with great sadness we say a fond farewell to a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law and uncle. Chesley George Hann left this world peacefully at St. Clare's Hospital on January 17, 2017 in the presence of those that loved him. His life's work may have been for DFO, but his life's passion was the love and happiness he gave his family and friends. He was one in a million and the disease that took him from us was one in a million. As special as he was in life, he will always be special to his wife Carol Anne (Ryan); his children: Sean (Davey/Laurie), Clarence, Alicia (Jamie); his grandchildren: Ashton, Jaden, Brock in B.C.; his in-laws: Tommy (Josie), Pat (Theresa), Catherine and Joan; also his many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation took place with a Celebration of Life at a later date. Formally from Wesleyville, he will rest for eternity at Ferryland with his old buddy and father-in-law Tom Ryan. Thank you to everyone who was there for him in the past several months. He will now care for you.
