He attended Holy Cross and St Michael's school.
He was predeceased by parents, Hilda (O'Handley) Mc Neil, Bill Mc Neil and brother, Frank. He is survived by wife, Norma Jean; children, Ray Jr (London) April (Vancouver); grandchildren, Emily, Matthew and Megan; brothers, Lorne (Millie) of Sask. and brother, Bill (Stella) of Halifax.
Cremation took place in London, ON.
