In loving memory of Corinne Mary Arsenault, of Wellington, aged 82 years, who died peacefully surrounded by her family at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Friday, February 10, 2017. Corinne was born on August 25, 1934, in St. Philippe, daughter of the late Benoit and Délina (nee Arsenault) Cormier. Beloved wife of Alyre Arsenault; loving mother of sons Leonce (Kathleen), Marcel, Pierre; and proud grandmother of Eddie and Paul. Corinne will also be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters: Irène (Albenie deceased) Bernard, Shediac, N.B.; Joseph (Alma d.) Cormier, Summerside; Zita (Lawrence Arsenault d. / Albert d.) Gallant, Wellington; Imelda (Edmond) Arsenault, Toronto; Toussaint (Yvonne) Cormier, Wellington; Ella (Ernest d.) Caissie, Miscouche; Marguerite (Raymond d.) Gallant, Summerside; brothers-in-law Peter (Rose) Arsenault, Albert (Norma) Arsenault; in-laws Joseph (Hélène d.) Gallant, Louise (Lévi d.) Arsenault, Yvonne (Léo d.) Arsenault; and great many nephews and nieces. Corinne is predeceased by her first husband, Edward Arsenault; her parents; brothers Tilmon (Angéline), Antoine (Grace), Alyre (Yvette), Edmond (Lucie); sister Lucie (Hubert Blanchard / Alfred Mugridge); and by in-laws Willie (Yvonne / Madeleine) Arsenault, Franky (Marie Anne) Arsenault, Rita (Joe) Bourque, and Joseph (Aline) Arsenault. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, then to the Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond, where funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. Interment in the church vault. A private ceremony will be held for family and close friends on Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Corinne's memory to Alzheimer Society or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
