Passed peacefully away at home, surrounded by her family on Monday, February 13, 2017. Margaret Josephine Pittman (nee Denine) at age 94 years was predeceased by her loving husband, Bill; son, Gary; parents, Margaret and Patrick Denine; brothers, Paddy, Willie, Aiden, John, Frankie and Leo. Leaving to mourn, her children, Betty Evans (Robert), Diane Pittman (Warren), Patti Pittman (Andrew), Barry Pittman (Cindy), and Tina Gray (Wendell). Margaret also leaves to mourn, her sisters, Alice Mayo (Bill-deceased), Catherine Mallard (Kevin), Mary Mercer (Jack), Anne Quinlan (John) and Stella Mercer (Hube) along with her brother, Joe Denine (Freda). Also, special family members, Mary Janiak (Vince), Jerome Pittman (Maureen), Angela Afonso (Alex-deceased); grandchildren, Tina, Cheryl, David, Pamela, Rob, Tracey, Hayley, Hannah, Maria and Riley; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Liam, Margaux, Andrew and Alyssa and one great-great-grandchild, Quinn. Special thanks to family and friends for their loving care; especially physicians: Dr. Kirit Patel (Sureka) and Dr. Vinod Patel as well as, homecare worker, Stacey Hogan. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Wednesday from 12-9 pm with cremation to follow and again at her family home, 15 Stead Place, St. John's on Thursday from 2-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 am from St. Kevin's Church with inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
