In Loving Memory of Darlene who passed away Feb 18, 2013
When we awake in the morning, to start a new day
We think of the tasks, headed our way.
Then a sudden reminder, will strike in our heart
As the pain and the hurt, will once again start.
It’s been four years, and it will never be the same
And we choke back tears, when we utter your name
Little comfort has come, with the passage of time
We still hear your sweet voice, in a porch chime.
Our memories are not all sad, nor hard to bare
But the loss and the grief, we all still share
The only thought that will give us, some comfort and calm
Is knowing you are wrapped, in the loving arms of your Mom.
Always in our hearts and sadly missed, Love Dad, Derrick, Vaughan,
Sheldon, Blair, Glenn, sister-in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
