STELLARTON – Barry Wayne Jordan, 71, Stellarton, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by his family.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Myrtle (Crosby) Jordan. Prior to retirement, Barry had been employed as a crane operator with the former Trenton Works for 35 years. He also served as a Probation Officer for a three-year term. Barry enjoyed gardening and had played baseball with the Asphalt Old-timers, and coached softball in younger years. Barry will be dearly missed by those he loved.
Surviving are his common-law wife, Mary MacDonald; daughters, Brenda Ryan, Stellarton; Kim Jordan, Trenton, Ont.; Melissa (Karl) Romans, Trenton; step-children, Catherine (Thomas) Martin, Foxbrook; Dwayne Cullen, Vancouver, B.C.; sisters, Diane Morris, Stellarton; Elaine Jordan, Hamilton, Ont.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Helen Dagonas and Joan Cameron; brothers, Vernon, Robert, Dan, Jimmy and Billy.
