Ina Cooper, age 65, passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday February 20, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre, from a brief struggle with an aggressive cancer in the presence of her family and loved ones. Predeceased by her loving father Melvin Cooper. Survived in loving memory and cherished by her mother Sarah Cooper, brother Fred Cooper and sister-in-law Ruby Cooper, daughter Charlene Turpin, son-in-law Mark Turpin, granddaughter Emma Turpin. In loving memory and treasured always by her fiancé Jack Purchase, niece TerriLynn Cluney and family Warrick Cluney, Jimmy and Joey Cluney; nephew Scott Cooper and family Lori Cooper, Brady Logan and Taylor Cooper; daughter Debbie Brown and granddaughters Jazmin and Char-Leah Vander Heyden; grandson Anthony Vander Heyden as well as many extended family and friends and her extended Home Depot family. She also leaves behind her beloved fur-baby Ernie and predeceased fur-baby, Burt. Her love for her family, friends and fur-babies knew no bounds. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Hematology Unit, Ambulatory Clinic and 4 North A of the Health Sciences for all of the wonderful care, kindness and compassion our dear loved one and our family received. There are no words to express our gratitude and appreciation for the dignity our loved one was shown. From the bottom of our hearts ... thank you. Gathering and church services to be announced.
