Johnson, Norman Gerald, “Buddy”, 59, Bible Hill, passes away peacefully Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with his sister at his side. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late William and Ellen (Delaney) Johnson. Buddy worked for Raco Management for 18 years as a salesman. He loved race horses and was the proud owner of Arizona Bucks, and had a special place for his dog Amber.
He is survived by his special cousin who was like a brother Troy; sister Cathy Johnson of Truro; niece Katie; nephew Josh; several aunts and uncles and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother William Johnson Jr.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro from where visitation will take place on Sunday from 2-4 pm and where funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 27th at 2:00 pm. Reverend Kevin Johnson will officiate with burial to take place at a later date in Bible Hill Cemetery, Bible Hill. Donations in Buddy’s memory may be made to the Hospice Society.
