Passed February 17, 2017 at home in Dartmouth with her loving husband Bruce and son Alex by her side. Born in Montreal September 13,1952 Jocelyne was the eldest child of Louise (Côté) Gagné and the late Maurice Côté. She had a joie de vivre for music, art, literature, fashion, food and family. Jocelyne loved reading and was a talented writer, using her skills translating, script writing and producing promotional material for TV and print (NTV, MITV/Global, The Newfoundland Herald). Family and friends always found her to be an engaging listener and storyteller, always sweet, kind and charitable to all. She is survived by her husband Bruce Morel; son Alexandre (Johnna Lee); mother Louise; sister Diane Côté; goddaughter Julie; nephews Patrick and Jean-François; brother Jean-Pierre Côté (Celine Riopel); nephew Israel; nieces Mila Jade, Andréanne (Benjamin, Ludovic), and her new puppy "Bella." Service in Montreal will take place May 21, 2017 on what would have been her 42nd wedding anniversary. Plans for a local celebration of life are underway.
