We, the family of the late David William Hussey, regret to announce his passing at the Northside General Hospital on Friday, March 3, 2017. David was born May 10, 1934 to the late Edna and Roy Hussey of Donkin.
David is survived by his wife, Marie (Jackson); his four children, David (Ella), and their twin girls Harlow and Colette, Los Angeles, Janice (Jeff), Dartmouth, Blair (Stephanie) and their two boys, Shan and Cass, Glenn (Julie), Las Vegas; his sister, Catherine (Bob) Seward, Glace Bay; niece, Kerri (Steve) Carpenter, PEI and nephew, Craig (Alana) Seward, Sydney and their children and by his mother-in-law, Mary Jackson, North Sydney.
David worked for Nova Scotia Power as a Iineman for 37 years until he retired. He was a member of Royal Albert Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. David had many interests, especially hockey and being in the outdoors walking, hunting, fishing and gardening. Our thanks to Dr. Bill MacDonald for the excellent care given to David over the years. In honouring David’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction W.J Dooley Funeral Home 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.
