Passed peacefully away at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, LORENA (Lorraine) MAY of Garnish, NL, in her 87th year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Nelson, Garnish, her daughter Suzanne, Chilliwack, BC, brothers Leonard Grandy, St. John’s, Roy Grandy (Sarah), Garnish, sister Carrie Burry, Portugal Cove; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lorena is predeceased by her parents Rendell and Margaret Grandy, sister Shirley and brother in law Fred Burry.

Rev. Gloria Wendover conducted the Funeral Service at St. Giles Anglican Church in Garnish, NL, on Friday, March 03rd, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

At Lorena’s request, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Pallbearers were Roy Grandy, Rodney Grandy, Roy Burry, Wilfred Evans, Melvin May, Arthur Cluett, Bruce Grandy, and Clayton Harris.

Donations, in Lorena’s memory, may be made to St. Giles Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Garnish, NL.
