It is with great sadness that the family of Eugene Power of Burin Bay Arm announces his passing on Sunday, March 5th at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 67 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Joan Brewer Power; sons John (Jocelyn Davis) of Pollards Point, NL and Rodney (Sherry Carberry) of Gander; grandson Dawson Edwards; brothers Howard (Madonna) of O'Donnelly's, Leonard (Kathy) of Burin and Gordon (Polly) of Epworth; sister Ann (John) of Portugal Cove and a large circle of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents John and Grace Power; brothers Kevin, John and sisters Christine and a baby sister.
Rev. Dr. Simon Muwowo and Father James Fleming officiated Funeral Service from Bethany United Church, Burin Bay Arm on Thursday, March 9, 2017 with interment following at Bethany United Cemetery.
Pall Bearers were John Power - Son, Rodney Power - Son, Howard Power - Brother, Leonard Power - Brother, Gordon Power - Brother, Jacob Courage - Lifelong Friend.
