DUNN, Kenneth Lester, 77, North River, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Kennetcook, he was a son of the late Lester and Elizabeth (O’Toole) Dunn. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joy (Whidden); children, Kenny (Heather), Lower Onslow; Kelly (Sharon), Belnan; Roddie (Rhonda), Belmont; Ron (Travis Atkinson), Moncton, New Brunswick; grandchildren, Justin (Erin), Paul (Megan), Candice (Cory) Stone, Stephen (Amy) Patrick, Elizabeth Dunn, Josh; four great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Edward, Raymond, Arthur, Shirley, Betty in infancy, Danny. Please join with us for a celebration of Ken’s life that will be held Saturday, March 25th from 1-4 pm at the North River Fire Hall, 74 Truro Road, North River. Private family interment service at a later date in Aenon Baptist Cemetery, Central North River. If so desired, donations in Ken’s memory to North River and District Fire Brigade or Colchester East Hants Hospice Society are welcomed.
