Jean Elizabeth Muir, 97 of Trenton passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Born in Dalhousie Mountain, Feb. 28. 1920, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Catherine “Cassie” (Bezanson) Taylor.
She was a member of the Church of The Nazarene, Trenton.
Mrs. Muir is survived by her half brother, Stanley Hansford, Ontario; special nieces, Evelyn Baillie, Lyons Brook and Patsy Barnett, Trenton, grand nieces and nephews and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Muir; son Leonard Patriquin; grand daughter, Laura Patriquin; sister Isabel Cooke; brothers James , Elmer and Earl Taylor and an infant brother.
Mrs. Muir is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Monday, March 13 from 6-8 pm. Her funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Pastor Leon Teal officiating. Spring burial will be in Telford Cemetery. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
