Peacefully with his family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, March 15 of Donald K. Higgins of East Royalty, age 71 years. Beloved husband of Bertha (nee MacDonald) Higgins. Dear father of Chris, Janice (Todd) McCabe and Andrew (Michelle). Poppy of Ashley, Matthew, Samantha Higgins; Tanner, Jordan, Jesse McCabe and Marleigh and Grayson Higgins. Brother Ronald of Red Deer, AB, the late Barry (March 9, 2017) (Bridget) of Orillia, ON and John Higgins of Charlottetown. Brother-in-law of the late Malcolm (Velma), John R. (Imogene) and Donald P. (Doris) MacDonald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Lois (Warren) Higgins, father-in-law and mother-in-law John B. and Florence (MacDonald) MacDonald. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday from Zion Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Canoe Cove Cemetery.
