It is with broken hearts we announce the death of Albert Squire, who passed away March 15 at the age of 82. Albert was born December 30, 1934 in Eastport, Bonavista Bay, but his heart was in the Big Land.
Albert and his wife Becky (of 62 years) moved to Labrador in 1967 and he went to work with Wabush Mines. He was a honest, hard-working man who always put his family first. May he rest in peace.
Leaving to mourn: wife Rebecca; and loving father to Debbie (Rob), Della (Reg), Donna, Bert (Mary Lou), Billy (Corinna), Tommy (Joanie); brothers Ralph (Gwen), Frank (Genevieve), Don (Shirley); sisters Kate, Gertie, Clarice, Audrey (Chuck), Shirley (Joe); sister-in-law Lottie Squire; brother-in-law Bill Ficzere; grandchildren Jamie (Jenna), Stephen, Michael, Matthew, Jeffrey (Kyra), Coleman, Tye, Julia-Anne (David), Jaden, Samantha, Victoria, Megan; great-grandchildren Austin, Stephen, Faith; son-in-law Bill Manstan; a large circle of extended family members, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Albert is predeceased by parents Lewis & Annie Squire; sisters Cora, Josephine; brothers Harvey and Ford, brothers-in-law Robert Groves, Bill Oldford; sister-in-law Marjorie Squire.
