PARRSBORO/FOX RIVER - Anthony E. ‘Tony’ Lake, Age 78, of Parrsboro and formerly of Fox River passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.
Born in Fox River, he was a son of the late Herbert and Laura (Dowe) Lake.
He is survived by his wife, the former Helena Cormier; a daughter, Laura Jury (Doug), Moncton; a son, Thomas (Susan Proctor), Amherst; grandchildren, Calvin Tower (Rachel), Ohio; Katrina Gilroy (Bruce), Amherst; a great-granddaughter, Nicole; sisters, Madeline Varner, Annabelle Hamilton, Valerie Smith (Frank), all of Diligent River; Dorothy Ross (Maxwell), Fraserville; Betty Anne DeWitt (Allen), Parrsboro; brothers, Philip (Ruby), Springhill; Alan (Donna), New Canaan; sister-in-law, Cindy Lake, Port Greville; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Lois in infancy; a brother, Walter.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Pastor Douglas Lake officiating.
