1944-2017

It is with heavy hearts we announce dad’s passing, but in it, great peace and comfort knowing dad held Carol’s hand as he left. We all know his pain has now ended and he is now at peace. Dad enjoyed his time on the farm where he was born, grew up and lived until his passing. He would be outside making sure the lawn was mowed and his garden was well taken care of. As the years went by, the garden never really got smaller. Dad also made sure all the wildlife was taken care of. At times, a dozen deer would all be feeding at once, not to mention the many rabbits that popped up during the day. We will forever miss you, we know you and Carol will now take care of us.

David is survived by his children: Randy, Lorie (Shawn) with their daughter Hunter and son Aidan, and Richard; his brothers: Orest (Gayle) and William; as well as all his nieces and nephews. At David’s request and wishes, there will not be a service. Arrangements entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel (306-922-4729).
