DOUCETTE, Margaret Jean – age 82, Tideview Terrace, Digby, formerly of Saulnierville Station, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the home. Born March 14, 1935 in Jerseyville, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Annie (Cougar) Kent. Margaret worked at a laundry in Brandford, Ont. for a number of years and also worked at La Maison au Coucher du Soleil in Saulnierville. She is survived by her husband, Leonard J. Doucette, as well as by her children, David (Lisa) Doucette, Concession; Elaine (Ron) Brown, Edmonton; Robert (Donna) Doucette, Calgary; grandchildren Jamie, Ronda, Justin, Cindy, Shawn; great grandchildren, Emiliy, Abigale and Logan DeRush. She is also survived by a brother, Harold (Pansy) Kent, Jerseyville, ON and sisters Elaine, Brantford, ON, Annie (Howard) Chaput, Edmonton. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Norman Kent and a sister Helen Embry. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at The Seaside Centre, Tideview Terrace in Digby. Interment took place in Sacré-Cœur Cemetery, Saulnierville on Wednesday, April 5 at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Tideview Terrace Bus Fund.
