It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful mother and wife Joyce Marian Sampson, born in Sydney, July 10, 1934.
Mom is predeceased by her parents, Roy and Christine Maxwell.
Mom is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Gerard Sampson; daughter, Linda Lee (David Gill) Edmonton; son, Doug (Charmaine) Sydney; brother, Roy Maxwell (Joan) Calgary and special niece, Barbara Munroe, Calgary. Mom was beautiful both inside and out. Her gorgeous smile and glorious laugh are memorable; a true lady in every respect.
We would like to thank Dr. Anne Frances D'Intino and the caring nursing staff of the An Cala Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, the staff of The Cove Guest Home Skylight Unit. We would also like to thank our dear friends, Clare & Gordie MacDougall for all their support over the years. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
