Margaret Sullivan of Back River (originally of Brigus South), passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her devoted family. Predeceased by her parents, Aiden and Madonna Hawkins, her sister Sharon Balkhi, and her infant brother Gordon. Also, her parents-in-law John and Margaret Sullivan, her sisters-in-law, Linda Sullivan and Maureen (Richard) Kennedy. Leaving to mourn her husband of 46 years, Jerome, her 5 precious children, Jocelyn, her daughter and best friend, John (April), Jason (Faye), Joyce (Brian) Hughes and Jodi (Ross) Lawrence. Her loving grandchildren Damien, Dakota and Dylan Sullivan (and their mother Sherri), Kayla Sullivan, Bailey and Hannah Hughes and Toby Lawrence. Leaving to mourn her siblings, Almira (David) Sullivan, Edgar (Drusilla) Hawkins, Bernard (Diane) Hawkins, Evelyn (Walter) Boland, Lynn (Tony) Curran and Moiz Balkhi; and her in-laws Regina Sullivan, Eddy (Yvonne) and Lloyd Sullivan, and a large circle of friends and relatives. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2-9 pm and on Wednesday, May 3rd 11am-1pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 3rd at 2pm at Immaculate Conception church, Calvert. Interment at Our Lady of the Cape Cemetery, Cape Broyle. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.
