Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Centre on Sunday, April 30, 2017, in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Warren and Myrtle Goodwin; father and mother-in-law Henry and Meta Foster; brother, Whit Goodwin; brother-in-law David Foster and nephew Dennis Foster. Leaving to mourn his wife Velma (nee Foster) of 43 years; son Andrew (Kate); daughter Amanda; brother Dave; sister-in-law Elizabeth Winter (Hallett); brothers-in-law: Ralph Foster (Viola), Roy Foster (Marion), Jim Foster (Rose) and Roland Foster (Donna); sisters-in-law Cora Jenkins (Clayton) and Elaine McKenna (Gary); also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. Thank you to everyone who came to visit and special thanks to Wayne and Lois Cashin, your visits every Friday meant a lot to Graham. Graham was very passionate about sports. His first love was hockey. He was even lucky enough to play with the CeeBees. He also spent a lot of time playing baseball, curling, bowling and golf over his lifetime. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 and Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to be held at First United Church on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Coughlan United Church Cemetery at Harbour Grace.
