ROBAR, Marjorie Georgina, Lake Paul /Aylesford, NS - Surrounded by the love of her husband of 66 years and her daughters; Marjorie Georgina (Tupper) Robar left this Earth on May 2, 2017. Mom was born November 3, 1934 on her Father's birthday. She was the eldest daughter of Thomas and Ella (Joudrey) Tupper. Mom is survived by her husband Paul A., Daughters, Carolyn Gould (Laverne, deceased), Marlene Robar (Neil), Christine Robar (Don) and Velvet (Glenn) Joudrey, 7 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 5 Sisters and 1 Brother. She was predeceased by her parents and 5 brothers. Mom was a member of the Morristown Baptist Church for 50+ years. She belonged to the Lake Paul/Lake George sewing circle, and she was an active member of the Community Club. She was also a member of the Aylesford and District Lioness Club. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter and later in years she enjoyed painting. She was an extraordinary homemaker and could make any meal a feast. Mom had a wonderful sense of humour and took great pleasure in a little diddy or limerick. Mom could find beauty in everything and always had a positive attitude. She showed kindness to everyone. She was never judgemental and always bestowed a quiet grace and dignity, which was a mirror of her Christian Values. Mom had a phenomenal spelling ability and a deep love of poetry. She had an abiding love for the ocean and lighthouses and she was our anchor. Her love and example will endure. Visitation was held from 7 - 9 p.m. on Thursday May 4, 2017 at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1- 855- 825-3448 from where the Funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 with Rev. Chad Clements officiating, assisted by Rev. Doug Porter. A reception for family and friends followed the service. Burial took place in the Morristown Baptist Cemetery. The Family would like to thank the Grand View Manor for their care and VON Homecare, Annapolis Valley Branch for helping us to keep Mom in her own home for as long as possible.
