Frederick John Chislett, 74, of Sydney Mines, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Charles L. Legrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basque, NL.
Born in Rose Blanche, NL, he was the son of the late Eli John and Mary Ann (Burte) Chislett.
John will be missed by daughter, Mary (Doug); brothers, Eli (Tracey), Dan (Sadie); step-daughters, Brenda Boutilier (Michael) and Ann Vadors (Albert), and grandchildren, Micheal, Brandon, Amanda and Stephen.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Elizabeth Chislett, and step-daughter, Deborah MacLean.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date under the care and direction of Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home, 10 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines.
