Passed peacefully away at his daughter's residence in St. John's, on Monday, May 21st, 2017 at the age of 83 years, George Edward Griffin of Harbour Breton (formerly of Jersey Harbour). Predeceased by son Leon (2016), parents Phoebe and Bertram Griffin, brothers Donald and Kenneth, sisters Mary and Mamie. Leaving to mourn with wonderful memories, wife Eileen; son Roy (Margaret); daughters: Brenda (Shellee), Barbara (Craig Noftall) and Beulah (Craig Wiseman); grandchildren: Jaye Lynn, Shandee, Ryan, Roy, Hailey, Heather, Gregg, Griffin and George (and his mom Tammy); as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.
