Steven Robert "Garboon" Kidd
The family of Steven Robert "Garboon" Kidd 63 years, are saddened to announce his passing on January 17, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. Born in Halifax, he was raised in Springhill and later moved to Calgary where he resided until his passing.
Steven is survived by his former wife, Pam Chedore (Meekins), his son, Troy Kidd; twin grandsons, Brayden and Brendon; granddaughter, Breanne; daughter, Krista; granddaughter, Kylie. He is also survived by his mother, Noreen MacPhee; sisters, Noreen Laurette, Georgina (Larry) Legere, Mildred MacPhee and brother, Edwin (Andrea) MacPhee; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father William Kidd and his step father Edwin A. MacPhee.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, May 29, 2017 in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
