It is with broken hearts that we announce that our precious Mom and Grandma has flown home to her Savior. Myrtle Lee passed peacefully surrounded by family on May 26, 2017 on the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her children: George (Martha) of Stephenville, Gerald (Darlene) and Carson (Beaty) of Port au Port, Dallas (Tony Loder) of Summerside and Shirley (Jim Ward) of Kamloops, BC, many treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren and family and friends in Fortune, St. George's, Stephenville and Labrador City. She was predeceased by her husband and love of her life Charles, her parents, in-laws and brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel, 147 Hansen Memorial Highway, Stephenville on Saturday, May 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 and Sunday, May 28 from 2-4 whereby cremation will take place. The promotion of glory will take place Monday, May 29 at 2 pm with Captain Major Betty Lou Topping officiating. Interment will follow where she will join her husband at the United Church Cemetery, Main Street, St. George's. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
