Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, Georgina Barrett of Spaniard's Bay, age 59 years. Predeceased by husband Donald; parents, George and Eva Atkins; sister-in-law Emmie; brothers-in-law: Selby, John and Irving. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Donna (Robert) Mercer and Barbara Barrett, both of Spaniard's Bay; one son, Dennis, BC; two grandchildren: Christopher and Matthew; one brother, Bill (June) Atkins, Cambridge, ON; brothers-in-law: David (Judy) Barrett, Brigus and Cyril (Mary) Barrett, Spaniard's Bay; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Keefe, Coley's Point, Olive (Jack) Southwell, Carbonear, Betty (Dave) French, Bay Roberts, Margaret (Leslie) Hussey, Enid Drover and Barbara (Max) Greeley, all of Upper Island Cove and Linda (Eric) Stevens, Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE until 12:00 noon Saturday, January 26. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard's Bay. Interment in the Green Head Anglican Cemetery, Spaniard's Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, c/o TCP Health Foundation.
