KINGS HEAD – Denise Therese (Forbes) Fitka, 58, Kings Head, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 11th, 2007, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Denise is survived by her husband, David, Kings Head; daughters: Sylvie (Greg) Andrews, Katy, TX; Suzanne (Shawn) Misener, Pictou Landing; son, Michael (Leah), St. Albert, AB; grandchildren: Victoria, Tyler, Brooke and Blake; extended family, Johannes and Carole and her very special companions, Mickey, Daisey and Riley. A celebration of Denise's life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the SPCA.
