PICTOU LANDING - Kathleen Louise Condon, 83, of Pictou Landing, passed away at home Friday, January 19, 2007. Born March 29, 1923 in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Agnes R. (MacGregor) Moore. She lived in New Glasgow and Trenton the early part of her life then lived in Pictou Landing for the last 52 years. She is survived by her three children: sons: Carl, Hamilton, Ont.; William (Mary); daughter, Patricia, all of Pictou Landing; four grandsons: Shaun (Annette); Billy Joe (Brenda); Riley (Lori); Geoff (Jen); six great-grandchildren: Kelly and Jake, Max and Sydney, Kurt and Chloe; sister-in-law, Isabel Moore, New Glasgow; cousin, Betty MacGregor, Dartmouth; many nieces and nephews. She was known as Grammie Kay by the neighbour children and she enjoyed everyone of them. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Harold R. Condon; brother, William Moore; and brothers and sisters-in-law. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Mr. Fergie MacKay officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
