BETTS, GOLDIE GORDON The death of Goldie Gordon Betts of Minto, N.B. occurred Sunday, September 12, 2004 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton, N.B., he was the son of the late Firman and Rebecca (Dykeman) Betts. Survived by his loving wife Edna (Knox) Betts of Minto, N.B.; a son Aaron (Judy) of Dartmouth, N.S.; a daughter Heather Cormier (Arthur) of Minto, N.B.; two brothers, Firman (Myrna) of Ripples and Jerry (Nancy) of Newcastle Bridge, N.B., five sisters, Mary Gilbert (Jack) of Ontario, Eileen Smith of Hardwood Ridge, Betty Palmer of Newcastle Bridge, Norma Mazerolle (David) of Minto, N.B., and Jenny Thibideau (Ronald) of Wuhrs Beach, N.B.; two grandchildren, Wesley and Sherry Cormier; two great grandchildren Kandace Cormier and Hunter (Miller) Cormier; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Goldie was predeceased by a son Paul Betts; two brothers, Eldon and Harold Betts and three infant brothers. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 327-3490 with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday September 15, 2004 from the Parker Memorial Chapel with Pastor K. Austin officiating. Interment will take place in the Full Gospel Pentecostal cemetery. For those who wish donations made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
