MASTON, WILFRED It is with deep sadness that the family of Wilfred Harry Maston wishes to announce his death at the Everett Chalmers Hospital. in Fredericton, New Brunswick on February 8, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 14, 1926, he was the son of the late Harry and Ina Maston (Stewart). He was predeceased by his wife Louise (Price), his brother Roy and his sisters Eileen, Juanita and Vera. Wilfred is survived by one daughter Susan, grandson Matthew and granddaughter Jennifer; and one son Gary, wife Rosslyn (Cogsley), four granddaughters, Erin (Jonathan), Stephanie, Myra and Andrea, and two great-grandchildren, Kailey and Tiernan. He is also survived by his two brothers Harold (Muriel) and Philip (Donna) along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. To special friend Mary Corkum and friend and neighbour Shirley Mazerolle, a great deal of gratitude is owed by the family for their care and kindness during Wilfred's last year of life. We also wish to extend our gratitude to the wonderful nurses on 4SE at the Everett Chalmers Hospital who gave Wilfred such loving attention and to Dr. Stephen Pond for his friendship and excellent medical care of our father. Wilfred was a long-time employee of the Department of National Defence in Gagetown where he made many friends whose friendship carried on after his retirement. He was a caring person who always thought of others and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bishop's Funeral Home. There will be no visitation by family request. Funeral services will be held at Christ Church Cathedral on February 11, 2006 at 2 PM with Dean Keith Joyce officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christ Church Cathedral Restoration Fund or a charity of choice.
