
DONALD WELDON BROWN
BROWN, DONALD WELDON The death of Donald Weldon Brown of Fredericton, NB, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, July 21st, 2007 at the age of 93. Born in Bear Island, NB, He was the son of the late Blanchard and Ella (MacDonald)-Brown and the husband of the late Jean Marguerite (Laurie) Brown. Don worked for NB Power for over thirty years before retiring in 1981. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church. He was a man of many talents and enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Peltoma Lake. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He always took the time to be involved with their families especially his many grandchildren and friends. He will be sadly missed by his loving family. Survived by seven sons, Byron (Mona), Laurie (Thelma), Neil (Donna), Paul (Linda), Lyle, Ned and Daniel (Helen); two daughters, Patricia Ann Campbell (Gordon) and Veeta Pert (Donald); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchild; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Jean; grandsons, Timothy and Peter Brown. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007 from 7 to 9 pm. The memorial service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, July 25th, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Rev. H.G. MacKenzie officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
