ESTABROOKS, PHILIP ALLEN - Philip Allen Estabrooks of Rockland passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. He was born April 24, 1921 and was the son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Caldwell) Estabrooks. He is survived by his wife Freda (DeMerchant) Estabrooks, daughter Carolyn (Glen) Mills of Coldstream, son Murray (Barbara) Estabrooks of Woodstock, grandchildren Shelley (Rodney) Foster of Fredericton, Beth (Tom) Tompkins of East Coldstream, Andrew Estabrooks of Fredericton, Matthew Estabrooks of Woodstock, great grandchildren Samuel Foster and Wyatt Tompkins, step grandchildren Tony Mills of Woodstock, Andrew Mills of Calgary, sister Jean Schoffstall of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, Hartland with visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A legion service will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Michael Horsman officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. Donations to the Coldstream Baptist Church or Donors choice would be appreciated.
