Catherine (Kay) Helena Belliveau AMHERST - Catherine (Kay) Helena Belliveau, age 95 of Amherst, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at the Gables Lodge Nursing Home, Amherst. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Despres) Gould. Kay worked for many years at Maritime Pants Factory in Amherst as well as doing seamstress work for many of her friends. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, playing cards, music and spending time with her family. Kay is survived by her two sons, Gary (Connie) of Moncton, N.B. and Ralph (Sheila) of Amherst; daughter, Eileen (Lee) Cormier of Long Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Julia Henman of Halifax, N.S. and Lillian Lever of Toronto, Ont.; six grandchildren, Denise, Julie, Shawn, Daniel, Ann and Daniel; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Rene (1990); brother, Arthur and daughter-in-law, Nicky Belliveau. Visitation will be held from Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m., with parish prayers at 8 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Holy Family Parish, Amherst, on Friday at 2 p.m. with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating.
