DIAMOND, FERN IRENE - The passing of Fern Irene Diamond of Burntland Brook, NB occurred on January 26, 2008 at the Tobique Valley Hospital at the age of 80. Born in St. Leonard, NB on November 30, 1927. Fern is survived by four daughters, Jennifer (Fred) Howard of Oxbow, Lucy (Roger) Jenkins of Burntland Brook, Judy (Wayne) Knowlton of Oxbow and Edith (Don) Painter of Debec; four sons, Hughie (Peggy) Diamond of Plaster Rock, John (Dora) Diamond of Winnipeg, Steven (Fran) Diamond of Burntland Brook and Jesse (Anne) Diamond of Grand Falls; 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, William Henry Diamond; granddaughter, Kerri Diamond; and grandson, Austin Knowlton. Resting at the Family Worship Center, Plaster Rock with visiting hours on Tuesday, January 29th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 30th at 2pm from the Family Worship Center with Rev. D.H. McKillop officiating. Interment in the Burntland Brook Cemetery.
