CHEVARIE, ALBENIE - Albenie (Ben) Joseph, age 74, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday April 11, 2008. He will be sadly missed by his family; wife, Oliva (Arseneault); daughter, Gisele Kirkpatrick (Russell) of Saint John and sons, Maurice (Rachel) of Saint John and Donald (Gwen) of PEI. His grandchildren, Dominic, Bernadette, Teresa, Joseph, Andrew and Jacob. He is also survived by his sisters, Melanie Chevarie and Anita Masocato (James), Huberte Donelle (Maurice) and Doris Daigle; brothers, Emile Daigle (Emelda), Jean Paul Daigle (Joanne), Roger Daigle (Oliva) and Donald Daigle; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter, Diane Chevarie, grandson Jean-Paul Joseph, brothers Yvon Chevarie, Theodore Chevarie, Roger Chevarie, Yvon Daigle. He was an active member of the Paroisse Saint-François-de-Sales, the (K of C) Chevaliers de Colomb Conseil 9029, and le Club Arc-en-Ciel. He was also a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 1386. Visitation will be Sunday April 13, 2008 at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday April 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Paroisse Saint-François-de-Sales, 291 Boars Head Road. Interment will take place in Borromeé Cemetery, St. Charles, NB at a later date.
