Faye Florence (Wolfson) Miller, 96, passed away peacefully at home in Cape Breton, March 3, 2010.
Born in Sydney, she was the third child of the late Harry and Rebecca Wolfson.
She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Charles Miller of North Sydney; her brothers, Bernie and Frank, Sydney and her sister, Blanche, Montreal.
She is survived by her sons, David (Aida), Antigonish and Peter (Rochelle), Toronto; her granddaughter, Jennifer Wolfson (Louis); great-grandchildren, Charlie and Shayna, Halifax and her grandson, David Mark, Toronto.
Faye was born in Sydney and lived most of her life in North Sydney. She was an active volunteer in North Sydney and in Sydney, as a member of the Temple Sons of Israel Congregation and the annual Hadassah Wizo Bazaar. She loved travel, fashion and entertaining. She played bridge with lifelong friends for over 50 years. She was always interested in current and business affairs and read three newspapers daily. She was a loving friend and a good listener to her daughters-in-law and to her many friends.
Faye was cared for with love and dignity by Margaret and her family, her sons and grandchildren will be forever grateful.
A funeral service took place March 5, 2010 at the Sydney Memorial Funeral Chapel followed by interment at the Temple Sons of Israel Cemetery.
