It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister.

Shirley is survived by her children Robert (Sophie), Trudi (Neil) Graham, all of Cochrane, Jim (Shirley), Tom (Kelly) all of Chase, Alan, Jeannette, David all of Kamloops, Ron (Jackie) of Surrey, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her one sister Bettie Read of Powell River.

Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband Julius and her parents Leonard and Sadie Read.

Shirley was born in Vancouver and raised in Stillwater, BC.

She met Julius in Blubber Bay and they married in 1951. They moved to Chase in 1964 to raise their family, left for a few years to work in Vancouver returning to Chase for their retirement.

Mom enjoyed social gatherings and outings with family and her many friends at Parkside Estates. We would like to thank the staff at Parkside for the many years of care and support of our mother.
