The death occurred on April 8, 2009, at Queens Park Care Centre, New Westminster, B.C., of Mabel Clare Preston, formerly of Dauphin, MB, Montreal, QC, and Charlottetown, P.E.I. Only daughter of the late William and Ada Percy and wife of the late Bernard Preston. Mother of Sharon (New Westminster), Alan (Janet Anderegg) (Charlottetown), Reid (Lynn) (Dorrigo, Australia). Grandmother of Tom (Sandy) Fransham, Gayle (Frank) Collins, Saul (Paula), April and Harold Preston. Great-grandmother of Danica Fransham, Jonathan, Gregory, Rachelle and Maxim Collins, Ben and Sam Preston. Interment will be held in Montreal at a later date.
