1930 - 2010 - John R. LeBlanc, 79, of Moncton and formerly of Acadie Ave. Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, May 26th 2010, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Alderic and the late Natalie (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc had retired from CN and was a member of St. Augustine's parish. He is survived by his wife, Doreen (née: Happeney); five daughters: Anne-Marie (Normand) Landry of Moncton, Jeannine (André) Michaud of Dieppe, Pauline (Barry) Breiter of Winnipeg, MB, Denise of Moncton and Susan (Gerry) Cormier of Dieppe; two sons: Paul (Darlene) and John (Kim), both of Moncton; one sister: Jeannine (Alf) Lalonde of Montréal, QC; four brothers: Dr. Phillip (Diana) of Guelph, ON, Valmore of Moncton, Br. Bernard, csc, of Montréal, QC and Fr. Rhéal, csc, of Welland, ON; one sister-in-law, Anita of Moncton;13 grandchildren; two great granddaughters, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by one sister, Cecile; three brothers: Paul, René and Roger and also by two grandsons: Serge and Stéphane
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB on Saturday, May 29th 2010, at 11am. Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
