Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on June 28, Mr. Walter J. Parsons of St. Anthony, NL. in his 66th year. Walter leaves to mourn his wife Shirley Simms (Parsons); children Dale (Rose), Elaine (Glenn), Craig (Cynthia), Cindy (Dion) and Lillian (Paul); grandchildren Timothy, Jennifer, Joshua, Shawna, Jeffery, Jessie, Matthew, Dylan and Brandon; great-grandchildren Tiffany and Dalton; sister Elizabeth; and brother Frank. Walter was predeceased by his mother Susannah Peckham (Parsons), father William Parsons and his 13 brothers and sisters. Visitation was held at Bethel Pentecostal Church in St. Anthony from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30 with Pastor Norman Joy officiating. Burial followed at the Bethel Pentecostal Church Cemetery in St. Anthony. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Levinia Fillatre, funeral director.
