1930 - 2010 - Adelin Boucher, 80 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Richiboucto-Village passed away on Sunday, July 11th, 2010 at the Manoir. He was married to Florida (Maillet) Boucher. Born in Richiboucto-Village on May 5th, 1930, he was the son of the late Alphonse and the late Azelma (Allain) Boucher. Adelin worked at the Fitchburg Paper for 19 years, and was caretaker at the Saint Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, Leominster, Mass for 11 years., he was also a member of the Richiboucto-Village Golden Age Club, and a 4th degree Knights of Columbus. He will be sadly by his wife Florida; his four children, Anne-Marie Collette (Aldorie) of Bouctouche, Linda Doucet, Norman (Sue), Paul (Debbie) all of Leominster, Mass.; seven grandchildren, three sisters, Valda Johnson , Geneva Johnson both of Richiboucto, Cécile Allain (Jean-Paul) of Worchester, Mass.; three brothers, Léon (Norma), Acquilla (Doris) both of Fitchburg, Mass., Bernard (Faye) of Fort Charlotte, Fl. and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased was one sister Marie (2009), and one brother Henri.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richiboucto-Village on Saturday from 9 to 11 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, Leominster, Mass at a later date. Interment will be in the St Cecilia's RC Cemetery in Leominster, Mass.
In Adelin's memory donations can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.
