At the South Shore Villa on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 of Doris Mabel Myers (nee Oakes) in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Myers. Dear mother of Marlene (Marvin) Hill, Sylvia (Sandy) Foy, Ron (Karen) Myers and Lorraine (Eric) McQuirk. Also survived by eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brother Cecil Oakes, sisters-in-law Evelyn and Mina Oakes, Betty MacAlpine and Mildred Edwards. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Margaret Oakes, sisters Hildred, Lillian and Amy and brothers Jack and Robert. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud from where service will be held on Thursday, July 22 at 10 a.m. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Interment to follow in Crapaud People's Cemetery.
